My winter break was really fun, I did a lot of exciting thing over the break like riding
my quad and go hunting. Riding my quad makes me feel good like I’m free, especially
when the wind hits my face while riding. Hunting is one of my favorite hobbies that's why I
enjoyed it so much during winter break. Hunting and looking for my prey gives me a
peaceful feeling because it just you and nature. My adrenaline also shoots the roof when I kill what I was hunting for.
Well the most important part of winter break of course is Christmas, not only
because we presents but because our family all gets together and we all have good time.
This was a good Christmas because I got my new boots and my new full set of camouflage. Another reason why Christmas is so important to our family is that it the day Jesus Christ was born and that has a huge meaning to my family and me. Anyways my winter break was full of joy and family.
There was very few thing I loved about the first the semester but it was still a great
semester. It was very stressful but I got through it, the most difficult thing was econ and
English and well I got done with econ but English i'm still doing. There is thing I regret from
last semester like staying on pace or procrastinating. Because of my procrastination I did
not get to play sports or join any type of clubs. There is a lot of thing I have to do before I
graduate like finishing a EOT for US history. I also have a lot of work that is due for
government that i have not turned in.
My college application went great I applied at the Universal Technical Institute and
was accepted right away. I was glad to get accepted at UTI because they will teach me the career that I love. I went to go take a tour at UTI and really enjoyed the school. The
instructors and staff were really polite, and the teachers seemed nice to everybody. We
would ask questions about the school and would get polite answers. I also applied for a
scholarship while I was there that was worth $1000. when I came back home I had a
appointment to talk about my financial aid and turns out I had got the scholarship. Getting
the scholarship made me feel like someone care about me getting an education and
pursuing my dreams.
All in all looking for jobs has been very difficult, I really want to work at Costco
because they get paid well and provide very good benefits for the employees. I’ve been
applying to a couple local jobs but none have seen to caught my attention as much as I’m
interested towards Costco. It hasn’t been long since I applied at Costco; like two weeks
ago, but I really hope I get the job.
